Rampage wasn't as good as last weeks but they tried to keep the excitement for next week's special event. The match card was okay for the audience to see but I felt some repetitive matches or wrestlers that feel like they should not have been included. Jon vs Sammy, we seen these two fights before and it was good, but this time just felt like a practice match for Jon and his upcoming opponent Hangman Adam Page. Britt vs Sky felt like a YouTube type match and not a long enough match just to see how much Sky has learned throughout her career. The eight-man tag match was a great way to end the night but something this big needs to have some longer time for everyone to shine in the ring.

On Rampage, we will see Jon Moxley taking on “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara and some women’s action as Sky Blue as a huge opportunity when she goes one on one with former AEW Women Champion Dr. Britt Baker. We will hear from Preston Vance, FTR after their hare battle against the Briscoe Brothers and Wardlow will be in action tonight. Also, we have an eight-man tag match as Dustin Rhodes teams up with Best Friends/ Orange Cassidy as they take on the Butcher/Blade, Trent Seven and Kip Sabian.

GOOD Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara

As soon as the bell rung, Sammy connects with a leaping knee strike on Moxley and straight away starts kicking the head of Mox. Sammy goes for a corner chop but Moxley ducks under and connects with a chop of his own. Then he Irish Whips Sammy to the opposite corner and rebounds into a clothesline. As Moxley throws Sammy out the ring, he gets distracted with Tay Melo which led Sammy to connect a leaping knee strike. Moxley regains the momentum as Sammy goes through the ropes, Jon hits a Cutter on Sammy and then connects an avalanche suplex. Sammy gets the momentum back as Mox tries to go a top rope move but Sammy pushes him off on edge of the ring a hit a dropkick/Meteora move on Mox. Sammy then rips the earring from his left ear and targets the bleeding ear by biting on it. As Sammy was keeping the momentum, he goes out of the ring to kiss his wife Tay which led Moxley to connects a suicide dive, as Mox was taking the offense as he was about to hit a German Suplex but Sammy landed on his feet and hits a top rope cutter. Both competitors put their lives on the line as they kept going nonstop action but, in the end, Moxley gets the victory by submission.

SQUASH Britt Baker vs Sky Blue

The match starts of slow with some grapples lock up, then some arm twisting from both ladies which led to Sky to grab her leg, take Baker to the ground and hit a superkick. As Sky was going to the top rope, Britt distracts the referee which gave Rebel an opportunity to push Sky off the top rope. After the help of Rebel and Hayter, Britt hits a top rope suplex to take the momentum. Britt continues the momentum as she Irish Whips Sky and connects with a clothesline, but Sky tries to fight back with some elbow strikes but Britt stops the offense as she pulls her hair down to the ground. No matter how much Sky tries to fight back, Britt would stop her offense and picks up the victory with a curb stomp.

    SQUASH Wardlow vs Exodus Prime

As soon as the bell rung, Exodus goes for a taunt on Wardlow which gave him a chance to connect with some slap to the face, then an elbow strike, an uppercut and ends it with a headbutt. Then he starts looks at the audience where he turns around and Wardlow connects with strong headbutt and then a destructive clothesline. In the end, Wardlow picks up the victory after hitting his powerbomb symphony on Exodus Prime.

GOOD Best Friends/Orange Cassidy/Dustin Rhodes vs Butcher and Blade/Trent Seven/Kip Sabian

The match starts off with Beretta taking on Seven where both competitors go for the hard hits as Seven connects with some chops and Beretta connects with some elbow strike as both men not giving up the advantage. A brawl starts to go crazy after Beretta and Seven both collide with a clothesline, as Butcher/Blade beat up Dustin and Chuck outside the ring. Inside the ring we see some one-on-one action between Kip and Cassidy. As Orange was about to go for a suicide dive, he stops as soon as he saw Bunny and Ford blocking Kip and as Orange was distracted the Butcher attacks Cassidy from behind. After the Butcher and Blade hit their double team move, Kip comes in and taunts Orange with his own slow kicks but as Orange catches one of Kips leg, Kip tags in Blade and as he was about to hit a brain buster, Orange reverses it into a stunner. No matter all the chaos that took place in this match, in the end Dustin hits the bulldog on Seven to pick up the victory for his team.
