Wrestlemania 39 Night 2 saw Brock Lesnar defeat Omos, Bianca Belair face Asuka and Roman Reigns retain his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

It’s now time for my 5 things we learnt article. If you haven’t read my previous 5 things we learnt articles, this is how it works. After each RAW, Smackdown and WWE Premium Live Event, I will release an article which is basically just the five big things that happened on the show and my opinion on it.

Hopefully I will be able to do these articles for AEW as well, but there is only so much wrestling I can watch each week so, at the moment I will only be making these articles for WWE.

So, here are 5 things we learnt from Wrestlemania 39 Night 2.

    5. Brock Lesnar beats Omos

Wrestlemania kicked off with a massive match… literally.

Brock Lesnar faced Omos in what was a very short match. Omos dominated Brock for most of the match, until Lesnar hit him with a few German Suplexes and an F5 to get the win.

I wasn’t expecting much from this match and I think this was put first on the match card to get fans excited for the rest of the show. The build for this match was good, they really showed the size difference between the two and they made me believe that Omos was going to beat Brock. But of course, Lesnar got the win.

You can tell how much Lesnar enjoyed that match, his selling was fantastic. I don’t know what is next for him but hopefully his next match in WWE is against Gunther because that is a match that needs to happen. Summerslam would be a great show for it to take place.
